Shoots of Spring

Don't you all feel happier with the first shoots of Spring appearing - Boris the reindeer does, as he tucks into his "hedgerow cabbage". Reindeer only have front teeth on the bottom jaw, so gently strip of the new shoots rather than chomping off the whole branch. So if you need a little gentle pruning doing, then Boris is the boy for you! ;)

And boy will he be handsome shortly as his antler buds are just showing signs of their own Spring growth.. Watch this space as I will update the antler growth, which once started in earnest is quite amazing _ Virginia Creeper has nothing on antler growth! ;)
